Based in Costa Blanca, Spain, and still racing at elite level. I coach endurance athletes, with a special focus on women, and build the training around real life: work, family and recovery. In 2027 I'm racing gravel in the pro category and Gran Fondos in my age group.

I really appreciate that Dana doesn't stop at writing a training plan but looks at the whole person. … Dana is very flexible and understands that we can't give training the same time and energy in every phase of life.

Dana looks at an athlete with the long term in mind, not with a wish for quick results. … Communication, an individual approach and a human touch are what describe Dana best.

What I believe about coaching

Long-term performance is not built through extremes

It is built through consistency, intelligent progression, recovery and trust in the process. Athletes improve most reliably when they feel genuinely supported, properly understood and challenged at the right level.

Athletes shouldn't be overwhelmed by noise or unrealistic expectations. My job is to create the right conditions and protect them over time.

  • A plan that fits your life

Your plan is built around your work, your daily rhythm and how you feel, and it changes when your life does.

  • Health, not only watts

I ask about your health, go through your blood test results and give advice on supplements and vitamins.

Blood work and supplementation are part of Full-Service, and an extra on Core and Performance.

  • Strength in the gym

Gym strength sessions are planned alongside your bike training, especially in winter.

  • Training around your cycle

If you track your menstrual cycle and want it taken into account, we adjust the plan around it together.

The journey

01

"You don't need a perfect start. You just need to start."

I didn't begin cycling until I was 26. No junior racing, no development programme — just a decision to try something unfamiliar, and a stubborn conviction that it was not too late.

It turned out not to be.

02

"Resilience is built through the process, not the outcome."

What followed was not a straight line. What started as a personal challenge became a full-time pursuit — one that led to 10 Latvian National ITT Championship titles, a Latvian Road Race title in 2025, and years of elite racing across Europe, including repeated top-10 finishes at the Chrono des Nations.

But the results, as meaningful as they are, were never the whole point. What I most want to pass on is how they were built.

03

"My path wasn't typical. Yours might not be either."

I arrived in elite sport without the conventional background. I had to train smarter, be patient through setbacks, and stay consistent when progress was slow or invisible. That experience shaped how I think about performance — and how I coach.

It is not about where you come from. It is about how deliberately you move forward.

Personal note

The person behind the programme

“Still racing. Still learning. Still in love with the process.”

In 2025, I won both the Latvian National ITT and Road Race Championships — at 45. I am not sharing that to impress anyone. I am sharing it because I think it says something important about what is actually possible when you train intelligently and stay consistent over a long period of time.

I live in Costa Blanca with my partner and fellow coach, Jānis Mūsiņš, and our son. Away from the bike: strong coffee, a good film, and time in the kitchen.

Progress starts with believing it's possible

Whether you are returning to sport, chasing a new level of performance, or simply want more structure and confidence in your training — the process begins with a conversation. Book your free intro call with Dana and she’ll take it herself. It takes about 30–45 minutes and there is no commitment.
